SONOS

Retail display interface

SONOS has a great reputation for their high fidelity audio products. They worked with EYELEVEL to create a retail display inviting customers to hear the difference for themselves. The display was designed to support a variety of speaker set from home audio home theater and was deployed globally. The heart of the display is a tablet app which allows users to control which speakers are active and to compare product information.

MY ROLE

I was brought onto the team to translate their UX research and wireframes into a final UI. Our research demonstrated we needed to deliver a listening experience that was as easy to use as possible since customers tend to have low attention spans. We focused on listening and speaker selection as the primary action for users. The app also has detailed information about the product lineup and company for those who want to dive deeper.

THE TEAM

Project executed for EYELEVEL. Designed team includes: Sr. Design Engineer Austin Richards, UX Designer Mia Lin, produced and managed by: Kelli Pement, Azra Mujcinovic

Listen & Learn

When a customer steps up to the display they’re greeted by an intro video. Their first action starts music coming though the display speakers. Users have the ability to select between speakers, music genres, and content types. Beyond the home screen users can compare detailed product specs.
