Why We Built Atro
ATRO provides a simplified approach to cybersecurity, focusing on essential security measures to mitigate risks without overwhelming complexity.
Problem
Security is too complex for small businesses
Small businesses face increasing pressure to protect themselves from cyber threats, but most lack the time, technical expertise, or budget to manage complex security tools. The cybersecurity market is saturated with fragmented, enterprise-grade solutions that are overwhelming for non-technical users. As a result, many small businesses either delay implementing proper protections or adopt tools they can’t fully manage—leaving them vulnerable and unsure of where they stand.
At the same time, managed service providers (MSPs)—who are often brought in to support these businesses—struggle with a patchwork of disconnected tools, limited visibility across client environments, and time-consuming workflows. Without a unified platform, MSPs face higher operational overhead and difficulty proving security value to their clients. This reactive, tool-juggling approach prevents them from scaling efficiently or delivering proactive, strategic support.
Solution
Provide an all-in-one solution for Small business and Service managers
Atro is a unified cybersecurity platform designed specifically to meet the needs of both small businesses and the managed service providers (MSPs) who support them. For small businesses, Atro simplifies cybersecurity by consolidating essential tools into a single, intuitive interface—no technical background required. Features like plain-language alerts, guided onboarding, and real-time risk monitoring make it easy for non-technical teams to stay protected and understand their security posture with confidence.
For MSPs, Atro streamlines client management through built-in multi-tenant account management. Providers can oversee all their clients from a single dashboard, gaining centralized visibility into security status, alerts, and system health across organizations. This dramatically reduces context switching and manual reporting, allowing MSPs to respond faster, manage more clients efficiently, and shift from reactive support to proactive service delivery.

How we worked
1
Research
Conducted market and competitive analysis, user interviews, and gathered feedback from live demos and screen recordings to identify user needs and product opportunities.
2
Feature Scope
Met with stakeholders to define the feature based on research insights. We aligned on MVP priorities while also mapping out ideas for future iterations.
3
User Flow & Designs
Created user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to visualize the experience. These helped the team align on structure, interaction, and visual direction early.
4
Feedback
Collaborated with developers to refine patterns for performance and feasibility. Collected user feedback through prototypes to validate whether the design met their needs.
5
Final Designs
Incorporated input from users, developers, and stakeholders to finalize designs. Ensured clarity, consistency, and design system alignment for a smooth build process.
6
Build & Release
The dev team built the feature based on final designs. After internal QA and product review, it was released to users and monitored for feedback and improvements.
